Akari ran and ran through the dark forest. She had been running from the moment she stepped in the forest, which was a good twenty, thirty minutes ago. Not trying to increase speed, but her time. Speed was her next priority. That was Akari for you, always improving something that required activity or a lot of movement. Slowing down to a stop, she pressed the Stop button on a timer she brought with her. 32:46, not bad.. Got a good two minute increase than last time. And people complain about doing a measly five minute run! Ha! Try doing thirty! Se threw her fist up in the air happily as a few drops of sweat flew off. "Man I love running!" She yelled as she stretched, but then began to wipe her sweat off with a towel she brought. "Don't really like the sweat though.." She mumbled. Glad I'm alone here too. That'd be embarrassing.. Then again, who cares?! I love running and activity!
Running again, Akari jumped and grabbed onto a branch, swinging up and standing up. Balancing herself, she began to walk to different branches, continuing her way. This is dangerous, very.. She chuckled. Such a bad influence. Ah well, no one's here. Besides, it's a great adrenaline rush! she looked around. Wow, so this is what the bird's see.. Man, I'd love to be a bird if it means I could see this every time. Much nicer than the bottom. Cleaner air too. But, if I was a bird I couldn't run and do anything except really fly and hope around. I'd rather much be a cat. A wild one! ..... She stopped ad slammed her head into a tree. I am a cat... Sighing, she rubbed the back of her head. Also much more than that.. Why couldn't I be a wanted Zodiac.. Like the Rat.. She growled at herself. I'd love to switch with that damn rat's place and see how that rodent can deal with what I do. In a swift movement, she punched the tree and made some of the bark fly off, but also making her hand bleed.
Cradling her hand, Akari swung to another tree and looked at the lake coming. I hate water.. It's pretty though, but I don't want to touch it. She was straight in the middle of it now when she grabbed a branch, but heard a sudden crack, before she could even look up or even say anything, she was falling. "Oh sh-!" Before she could even finish, she hit the water. It was too shallow for her even sink, so she sat there soaked to the bone and pissed like hell, her hair drooping in front of her face. She moved the hair out of her face, and bit her tongue hard enough to make it bleed and to keep herself from cursing up a storm. Sighing, she got out of the water and squeezed the water off. "At least this can't get--" Thunder then echoed and rain poured down. "...worse." She took a deep breath. "DAMN IT ALL!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as she began to stomp back home, very pissed and soaked.

Zell began to walk closer and closer to the lake. She had heard about it and wanted to see it for herself. She loved nature and she loved the water. Maybe I can prance around and jump in the lake once I find it. She wanted to see it but really the main reason she came out into the forest was because she thought she smelt Sanosuke's scent. That sent her flying like a puppy with wings on her paws toward the forest. But she was slowly starting to realize that he wasn't there. She sighed and took one more look around to see if she could find him. She took in one more deep sniff but still, nothing.
She looked up but the trees were so thick that she couldn't see the sky at all. I wonder how late it is? She looked forward and then looked around to see if anyone was there with her and smiled to see that no one was there. She smirked and looked at all the trees, bushes, and branches in the area. Not to mention a nice big open space. She took one more look around and smiled again seeing no one. "Hehe...if I might as well have some fun by myself now would be the time." She bent her knees a bit and relaxed all her muscles. A few seconds passes and she waited in silence only hearing the sparrows and other birds singing their songs. She smiled and bent a little bit lower. "........GO!!!" She took off toward a tree at full speed. It looked like she was about to kick it off it's place but instead she jumped up a bit and ran up the tree. She got to where the tree was about to get thin and pushed herself backward flipping off of it. She turned around completely and stared forward smiling.
She landed on the ground gracefully and perfectly and looked up and then took off again making all the leaves behind her fly up. She ran over toward a tree and kicked it clean through making it start to fall over and ran over toward a bush that was about two inches thick. She slid and kicked it with her feet breaking it within seconds. She jumped back up doing somewhat of a cartwheel and ran over toward a branch that was a bit lower to the ground. She jumped onto it and kept jumping on to all the other branches. One was higher than the rest and she jumped off the branch she was on and did a flip to land on it. She ran over the long branch and jumped across it to another branch about ten feet away. She landed on it and let her body go down with it. The branch flung back and then threw her off of it. She was heading head first toward a tree, did a flip and landed on it. She seemed like she was stuck to it for minutes then pushed herself off doing a cartwheel on the ground flipping one more time and landing on her feet. She stood up and began laughing. "I love doing my acrobatics!! It's just too bad I can never seem to fight like this. I can only do this when I'm doing it for fun and on my free time. Sighing she turned toward the lake ahead of her.
When she finally reached it she jumped in and rolled around in it cooling herself down. Giggling a bit while she did so she finally jumped up and walked out. She shook herself off and looked up at the sky which was rather sunny at the moment. She smiled and looked over to see a tree that had a plain sight of the lake and the sky. She smiled and skipped a bit over to it. She ran up it and sat in a fork of the tree. She relaxed herself and looked out over the river and smiled smelling the fresh air and watching the wildlife around her. Suddenly she smelt blood and looked over in the direction it came from. She recognized it but just sat back and ignored it. She heard all the birds singing and she began to sing a three note tune of her own. All the birds stopped to listen. Finally when she finished all the Mockingjays start to mimic her tune. She smiled as she heard them sing it back to her. She watched a sparrow land on the branch in front of her and try to sing with the mockingjays. She loved Sparrows and smiled as it tried to sing along with the beautiful song.
Suddenly she turned to see Akari walking on a branch over the water. Guess she hasn't realized me yet. She watched as the branch began to crack and she fell into the water. Her head just followed Akari's falling body into the water. She watched as she seemed really pissed off. She laughed a bit at that. "That's what you get Deary, for walking over the water on such a dangerous branch. A cat of all things I'd think wouldn't dare to do such a thing." She watched as she stood up and walked out of the water. "At least this can't get--" She looked down at her and then heard the thunder. She felt a raindrop hit the top of her head and she looked up to see it start raining. One raindrop hit her nose which made her wince a bit. "...worse." She looked down at her and felt bad for Akari. "DAMN IT ALL!" She looked down at her with a blank expression and watched as she began to walk home. "Hey Akari!! Up here you don't get very wet. I can move for you. It's better than having to walk home all the way in the rain and water when at least you can stay mostly dry up here and wait for the rain to stop. Besides, we've got some catching up to do don't we?"

Okay, I'm going to go home and take a nice, warm shower, change into pajamas and go to bed.. Akari sighed as she tried to block the rain from herself, until she heard a voice that was way too familiar.
"That's what you get Deary, for walking over the water on such a dangerous branch. A cat of all things I'd think wouldn't dare to do such a thing."[/u]
Akari's head sank as her shoulders went up, slowly turning her head to see Zell, the dog there laughing at her. "Shut up you smelly mutt, I'm in a bad enough mood as it is. I don't need your yapping." She told her bitterly as she began to keep walking. Who the hell does she think she is?! How was I supposed to know the branch would've broke?!? I'm not a psychic! And just because she's older than me and we're blood-related doesn't mean squat! She doesn't have any right to talk to me like that! She growled a bit silently. And she wants to gain a relationship... She isn't doing a very good job!
Akari then stopped and breathed in, putting her finger up to her nose. She basically began to hyperventilate. "Ah...ah...AH-CHOO!" She yelled as she sneezed loudly, turning into a black cat. Great, just great.. Man, I'm glad it's night when everyone is asleep... Damn cold.. Damn rain.."
Hey Akari!! Up here you don't get very wet. I can move for you. It's better than having to walk home all the way in the rain and water when at least you can stay mostly dry up here and wait for the rain to stop. Besides, we've got some catching up to do don't we?"[/u]
As soon as Zell said "Not very wet", she was already on the branch with her with her back and fur raised high, showing her dislike for the rain despite feeling tired and sick. She was cold and barely acknowledged anything else Zell said. Shaking off, she detached her claws from the branch and curled up on the thick part, trying t keep herself warm. "H-h-how c-come y-you haven't tr-transformed y-yet..?" Akari stuttered. "I-i-it's f-f-freezing out here!!"

She looked down at Akari as she began yelling at her. "Shut up you smelly mutt, I'm in a bad enough mood as it is. I don't need your yapping." She kept staring down with a blank expression. It kind of hurt to be called that but it didn't really phase her much, she's been called much worse. "I didn't mean to make it offensive, sorry." She watched as she began to storm off. She sighed and looked up when she began to hyperventilate. When she sneezed she watched as the black cat began to take shape. Transformed.. nice....
Before she finished she turned to see Akari sitting in the tree showing her dislike for the rain. Zell smiled and chuckled quietly to herself. "I would give you a blanket but sorry I didn't bring anything.." She watched as she went to the thicker spot and began to speak again. "H-h-how c-come y-you haven't tr-transformed y-yet..?" She looked down at her with a questioned look. "Hm?" "I-i-it's f-f-freezing out here!!" She smiled and shook her head. "Hmpf....I'm a dog so I naturally like the rain more than cats. Even if I didn't like it I would have a more better resistance than a cat. I'm also bigger so I don't get cold as fast...plus I just frankly like the cold. I figured you would at least remember that of all things, then again you don't seem like you like to remember anything about me so I guess I don't blame you." She turned her head to look the other way. It kinda hurt that Akari didn't care about Zell as much as Maria. It hurt that she didn't remember anything about Zell. She sighed and tried to think of something to say. "So...how have you and M.......Maria," She said Maria's name kind of choppy. "...been? Anything interesting happened to you two?"
